HIKOREZ® light color C5 Resins are pale yellow thermoplastic resins obtained from hydrogenation of C5 aliphatic olefin and diolefin generated in the thermal-cracking process of naphtha. These resins offer better color, heat stability and lower odor than the previous C5 hydrocarbon resins. They have excellent compatibility with Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate (EVA), Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene copolymer (SIS) and Styrene-Ethylene-Butylene-Styrene copolymer (SEBS), and are used as tackifier.
