REACH stands for "Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and restriction of CHemicals" and is a management regulation for companies that requires the registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of all chemicals produced or imported to the EU in the amount of 1 ton or more per year based on the amount of distribution and toxicity.
Pure chemicals as well as mixtures and end products containing chemicals are included in the target materials of these regulations. KOLON Industries, Inc. fulfills all of its obligations under these regulations by designing Only Representative (OR) in Europe.
SVHC stands for "Substance of Very High Concern" and designates very dangerous substances that require special attention as these substances can have fatal effects on human health and the environment.
KOLON Industries, Inc. receives verification of the updated SVHC from a certified agency, and provides the relevant information to customers.

In response to the Chemicals Control Act, which became effective as of January 1, 2015, KOLON Industries, Inc. is making every effort to fulfill all of the related tasks, including off-site consequence analysis report and risk management plan.
The Act on the Registration and Evaluation, etc. of Chemicals requires the registration of all new chemicals and previous chemicals being manufactured, imported and sold in the amount of 1 ton or more per year to a basin environmental office or regional environmental office, in addition to the reporting of the purpose, manufacturing, importing and sales amount of such chemicals and to receiving inspection and evaluation of toxicity and hazard.
